Holiday Home with pets in Tuscany / Italy

If you don’t want to miss pets during your vacation in Italy, then our holiday home is made for you. Experience how beneficial the contact with our animals can be. Because our friendly dogs and affectionate cats are the most grateful partners you can imagine. It is amazing, how stress-relieving and emotional the contact with our animals can be, especially for children. Do you want to bring your own pet on holiday on Italy? No problem, your friendly dogs are welcome as well.

In addition, we have free-range ducks and chickens, with a proud rooster in the middle. There is something soothing about listening to the ducks’ chatter and observing their social behaviour. Furthermore, also the wildlife of Tuscany around our holiday home deserves your attention. Indeed, the melodies of songbirds or the calls of the owls at dusk are balm for the ears. Finally, don’t miss watching the hoopoes in our park or looking out for a squirrel.

Almost like hippotherapy

Horses, big and powerful, poles of calm, always honest, attentive and with great social skills, are perfect guides for mental and emotional strengthening of us humans. That’s why hippotherapy is a popular tool in training mindfulness, stress management, self-confidence, and socialization. We are happy to introduce our guests to the nature of horses. We try to see the world through their eyes and deduce from that some hints on social behaviour. Together we observe how sensitively and consistently horses react to our way of interacting with them. Thereupon one easily understands, how important it is to send out the right signals in the correct dose in order to win their friendship.

If desired, we also go deeper and offer our guests the experience of physically “merging” with the horses on horseback. Indeed, it is a wonderful feeling to be carried by them and to follow their movements. Through the pelvis, the rider absorbs their swings and transmits them to the whole body. This reduces tension and trains coordination, posture, and balance. Try it out!
